WDT is a nonprofit dance organization dedicated to inspiring, educating, and uplifting our community through the art of dance. We believe dance should be accessible to everyone, regardless of age, financial experience, or background, and we are committed to providing high-quality training and meaningful performance opportunities in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Season '25-'26
The Woodlands Dance Theatre is thrilled to present an exciting and inspiring 2025–2026 season filled with performances, community outreach, and opportunities for our dancers to shine both on stage and beyond.
We are proud to welcome our incredible new instructors to the WDT family, bringing fresh talent, energy, and expertise to our programs. Their passion for dance and dedication to our students will make this season one of our best yet.
We kick off the year collecting gently used shoes helping our studio to raise funds and help sustainability and job growth in communities around the world. In December, our dancers will light up the stage in our Mid-Season Showcase, a joyful celebration of their progress and artistry.
The season continues with special appearances from our Storybook Ballet Company, bringing beloved tales to life for audiences of all ages. Our dancers will also share their talents with the wider community through performances at senior centers, assisted living facilities, and other local events, as well as featured appearances at major festivals such as the Children’s Festival and the Waterway Arts Festival.
The year culminates in our highly anticipated End-of-Season Performance, running June 4–7, 2026. This grand finale will showcase the dedication, growth, and passion of every WDT dancer, from our youngest students to our most advanced performers.
With an inspiring team of instructors, a full calendar of performances, and deep community engagement, WDT’s 2025–2026 season promises to be a year of artistry, achievement, and unforgettable memories for our dancers and our audience alike.
6 week ballet sessions
Introduce your child to the beauty and discipline of ballet in our all-inclusive six-week sessions designed for beginning dancers. We offer two age-appropriate classes: one for dancers age 3 and another for dancers ages 4–6. Each program is tailored to nurture creativity, develop coordination, and build confidence in a supportive and joyful environment.
For $200, families receive the complete experience: weekly classes, a performance costume, and an in-studio recital on the final day of the session. This special performance gives dancers the chance to shine while family and friends celebrate their achievements.
Dress Code

Girls: Pink leotard, pink tights, pink ballet slippers, and hair neatly secured away from the face.

Boys: White t-shirt, black shorts or leggings, and black ballet slippers.
Benefits of Ballet
Ballet provides young dancers with much more than graceful movement. Through structured classes, children improve posture, flexibility, strength, and coordination. Ballet also teaches focus, musicality, and discipline, while encouraging creativity and self-expression. Beyond the studio, dancers carry these skills into school, sports, and everyday life.
Space is limited to 10 dancers per class to ensure each child receives personal attention and a positive first experience in ballet.
